Oh yes; I spotted my error: I drew the arrows wrong way round on the LED symbol, so that the Light Emitting Diode looks like a Light Dependant Diode or photodiode. My bad: It's an LED not a photodiode - A drawing cock-up. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

You built it and it made you laugh? What do you find amusing about an LED lighting up as darkness falls upon the sensor?
