I appreciate that WP runs on Windows servers, but not on my host's Windows servers for whatever reason best known to themselves.

Re: Is it Worth Running a RAID Array?

"whether connected to serve a domain or as part of a Local Area Network or LAN."

Huh? Are they mutually exclusive? Do you actually know what domains are? It does not sound like you do.

Your grasp of RAID seems pretty flakey (no surprise there really). Do you actually use it?

Red Hat Linux? Huh? They stopped making that like half a decade ago. It's Fedora now. Or are you talking about Red Hat Enterprise? I think anybody involved with RHE is not going to be reading this poor RAID explanation, and has computer experience way out of your comprehension (like me!).

Is your preference for Linux server only due to not being able to run Wordpress on Windows or something? You do know that it runs fine on Windows, as long as you have PHP and MySQL installed on it?

Your Truly
ss xx
(full domain with Active Directory, RAID-5 Serial Attached SCSI drives, IIS with PHP and MySQL installed)
